As a Dominican-born, Washington Heights-raised, and South Bronx-based author, wife, and mother of three, I created my books to help my own children see themselves in stories while learning everyday life lessons such as self-worth, language, resilience, healthy habits, and belonging. I hold a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and a Master of Public Affairs and Administration, which guide the social, emotional, and educational foundation of my work. My stories are shared through books, 2D animation, and online games, and are brought into classrooms and homes through partnerships with schools and community organizations, making them both personal and practical tools for learning.

I believe that when children see themselves reflected in books, they grow in confidence, imagination, and emotional strength. That belief guides every story I write and every animation I create.
